Get rid on the panhandlers out front an following you in establishment ...one outside was rude to my girl when she said didnt have spare change an swore at her

Food good ... made to order so very fresh.

Horrible... I ordered a #1 .. hoagie, fries, and drink. Got my food, the "hoagie" was a small 4" sandwich on a hard roll. Hoagies are not made on a 4" hard roll... Very disappointed. I questioned it, and was told that's their hoagie... Not happy.. won't go back

Elmwood and Delavan crew dose there thing!! Good job ,,,, Allen st I don't envy that Friday / weekend bar crowd. But aye you do your thing to. Nice hearty food always hits the spot ... only thing that blows is when the new crew or new trainee makes a skimpy bland sub witch has happened little more lately but hopefully that goes away sooner than later

I ordered a Jim’s famous steak hoagie and a Jims famous chicken hoagie from this location for delivery and received 2 steak hoagie, mine was leaking through the wrapping with grease. When I called to ask for a replacement sandwich, she said my only option was to pay for a new one and come pick it up myself. She offered no apology and then hung up on me. After a couple of below average experiences here, the rudeness I received tonight ensures I’ll never be back.

Always friendly efficient staff and store is clean. We ALL know the food is great!

Got a cheeseburger sub and it was so good, ingredients tasted fresh even at 4am. My friend was a little intoxicated and hard to deal with, and they were super professional. Will be going again!

This place is the only thing I miss about Buffalo.Good steak, good chicken, good poutine, professional staff.

Curtis took my order and got me a 12 inch Jim's famous steak hoagie with all the fixings. It was enough to feed 2 hungry people. Needless to say I ate it all. Curtis was also very courteous considering I'm visiting from Florida and had never been here before. Thanks!!!

Will visit again on Halloween right after my eye doctors appointment, it's just a few doors away on Elmwood. Great food.

Good drunk food, always a rowdy experience late night. The food is greasy and not always quick, but this Buffalo staple is a staple for a reason. The Chicken fingers subs and steak hoagies are out of this world. Just be ready for a wild time if you come on a Friday or Saturday night.

Went to this location near Bidwell pkwy at 3:30am in the morning 11/30. A mob crowd of customers. However the staff on board operated like a well-oiled machine. Staff was polite and courteous in spite of the heavy amount of customers present (especially the tall guy taking the orders). Not to mention many customers were the after bar crowd. Food was perfect! I felt compelled to take the time and give them a great review immediately when I got home.

Definitely the best Chicken Finger & Stinger Subs, Philly Cheese Steak And Hoagie's in all of NYS.The Philly Cheese steak is the closest to NYC street Vendor quality that you're find. Make sure it has mushrooms and Jim's sauce.The Taco in a bag is a must have. Who would have thought a bag of Doritos & Taco ingredients would taste so awesome. Make sure to crush/crunch up the bottom of the bag a little before eating.

Absolutely terrible experience. I order on the phone and get a lady with absolutely no care. Then she doesn’t even ask for my name so when I get there, their is confusion. I get home after waiting an hour to get my sub to find out it is all messed up after confirming with the worker that it is made properly. Let alone this was the second time in a row this happened. Pathetic

Awesome food wow! Prices are reasonable can get a lil busy so expect to wait during the lunch crush. Good job guys a must have when I'm in Buffalo

Terrific steak and cheese sub a la Philly Cheese Steak. And let me say Pouteen Fries OMG, just amazing. They also have terrific Taco Fries and great hoagies. The original Jim's on Elmwood in Buffalo is still the best.

The food steak and chicken was not chopped up small

Gave me burnt chicken fingers , I know they saw that the chicken fingers where burnt and they still served them like that absolutely disgusted

By far the greatest steak sub I ever had in my life. Unfortunately they do not have boss sauce or Country Sweet sauce.

Ordered a 12 inch stinger sub, girl insisted we split it into two 6 inch stingers because we wanted one half dry. And then they only gave me a single half sized chicken finger on my half. I paid over 8 dollars for this. Don't order here after 11pm. Pic related. I only took two bites from the one end

We ordered an order to go. They forgot an order of fries. During our wait the female on duty complained about it getting busy at 4am. When we arrived home we realized we were missing an order of fries as we ordered two combos. When we called we were placed on hold by the same employee for 10 minutes. We were not able to rectify the situation

Normally the food is great last night stopped in for a chicken finger sub and it had 2 fresh fingers and 2 recooked burned fingers that were rock hard....So I went back a couple days later and worse then before my steak and sausage is literally drenched soaking in hoagie sauce as I asked for lite sauce this place used to rock I dont know what happened

Worst assorted sub I've ever had. Asked for everything and it was dry...no mayo...no oil...1 skimpy layer of each meat. It's a simple task to put a sub together.

Totally inconsistent last two times there food was disgusting time before that it was good. Bad more than good. Don't think I'll chance it anymore. Not for their high prices.

Came in on a Sunday night, guy comes from behind the counter sees me and doesn’t say anything. I assumed he was a cook, and waited for the counter person. He stood and made himself a drink at the fountain, then pulled out his cell phone. looked at me again but never said a word. Finally after going through his cell phone he goes back through the door and steps up to the register to take my order. I have worked in restaurants, hotels, resorts, and in customer service. This is a total disrespect to the customers of this business. I have NEVER posted reviews before, but when it’s blatant and obvious, it needs to be brought up.I The grub hub driver got acknowledged before the door even closed..

Heyyy, these guys are great!!! I have been coming to this Jim's for quite sometime now... They never fail to disappoint me. I recall leaving $20 in the ATM years ago & called back to ask one of the workers to hold it for me & he did!!! So the staff there is always great... Food service is just as good!! Usually clean, not too busy unless you're going on a late night towards the weekend. Definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area!!

This is another Local Favorite, great college, I am drunk and need food place. The steak subs are great! It is a bit pricey and not really a family place.

please teach employees how to wrap a taco. second time i’ve ordered tacos that came with the contents spilling out of it making it inedible. but hey, what do i expect for $5 right ?

Ordered a chicken cordon bleu sub last night. It looked nothing like the picture from the menu (I know it is like that at most places - but this was bad). They put one tiny little chicken tender on it. (SEE THE PICTURE I POSTED ABOVE IN THE IMAGES SECTION) There was hardly anything to this $7 half sub! Come on guys! It's like they don't take any pride in what they are preparing for their customers anymore.

The foods they serve taste good and is properly prepared. One of the important things I like about Jim's SteakOut, located on Ellwood Avenue & East Delavan, in Buffalo NY is there persistence in being one of the cleanest franchise restaurants in the area. The reason why is because they continue to wear gloves when preparing & serving fast foods to its customers. So I gave them 5 stars and if I could give them more stars, I would for their excellence in customer service and excellent cooking skills. So "2"👍🙂👍'S up for greatness in the surfing 2019 year.

While far from fine dining, Jim's has good food. Its drunk food that's still tasty and worthy while sober. The deep fried mac and cheese bites are tasty and innovative. There is the added bonus of the late night hours with some locations being open until 5am.

Me and my bf came here since I love Jim's. We love the Philly wraps and the chicken fingers subs. The woman at the counter however was very rude. She was very short with us, wouldn't look at us, and talked to us like we should know what goes on the wrap. Furthermore I got charged 30¢ for lettuce. Lettuce of all things. It took 15 minutes to get the wraps. That's not bad but a counter order came in and ordered and they were the priority. They came in and left with their food very quickly. While we were waiting someone went on break and were playing their music very loudly coming out of the kitchen. We got our food and the wraps were so small our food was falling out of them. At least they were very good along with the fries. It was an okay experience. I would go back if that woman wasn't at the corner again.
